Archer had Hunter/Ranger/Bowmaster and Crossbowman/Sniper/Marskman. Thief had Assassin/Hermit/Night Lord and Bandit/Chief Bandit/Shadower. Magician had Wizard, Mage, and Arch Mage of Ice/Light or Fire/Poison, as well as Cleric/Priest/Bishop.

Warriors had Fighter/Crusader/Hero, Page/White Knight/Paladin, and Spearman/Berserker/Dark Knight. On top of that, there were different branches of jobs for advancements. These classes, known as Explorers, were Warrior, Magician, Thief, and Archer. When MapleStory launch initially in 2003, only four different classes were available.
